She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Shelley and Thelma Jewel Bond Shelley; her husband Byrd Givens; her children, John Wilson Givens and Jackie Givens Leddon; and her siblings, Joan Woodham, Vivian Wright, Clogene Sprouse, Agnes Kirkland and Jay Shelley.
She is survived by: her son Joel Givens (Connie) of Miami, FL; her children-in-law, Janice Givens and Ron Leddon; her sisters, Betty Kirkland and Yvenette Parrish (Harold); her grandchildren, Diane Dunaway (Justin), Jonathan Givens (Brandy), Jennifer Givens, Shelley Lybarger (Craig), Aaron Leddon (Dena), Benjamin Robbins (Jessica) and Colby Leddon; and also Sharon Roberson.
Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.
