He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Kaye Bolen Armstrong; his parents, Brenton Armstong and Garnet Evelyn Davis Armstrong; and his siblings, Geraldine Ingram and Michael Armstrong.
He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Armstrong (Casey) of Dothan and Billy Armstrong (Susan) of Taylor; and his sister Janet Zamelia of Fayetteville, WV. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
