With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Gilbert Jr. (Dothan, Alabama), born in Columbia, Alabama, who passed away on May 20, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Gilbert, Sr. and Ida Sevelle Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Greg Gilbert (Suzy) and Kyle Gilbert. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the General Scholarship Fund at Huntingdon College, 1500 East Fairview Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36106.
