With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Nolan Cherry of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cherry and Lois Cherry; his former wife Jane Barnhill Cherry; and his brother Roy Cherry, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joy Cherry; his children, Clint Cherry (Delcy), Kevin Cherry and Trish Sykes (Brian); his grandchildren, Tessa Cherry of Addelyn Cherry, S. J, Fletcher Phillips and Mel Phillips; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Cherry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund, 1461 Timbers Dr., Dothan, AL 36301.
