It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Coleman of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anglin and Emma Anglin; her husband Eddie L. Coleman, Sr.; her grandson Larry D. Norton, Jr.; and her great grandchild Ashanti Townes.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Coleman, Jr. (Sylvia) of Dothan, Alabama, Jackie Hall (Howard) of Dothan, Alabama, Johnny Coleman of Dothan, Alabama and Jennifer Rivers (Steve) of Dothan, Alabama; her siblings, Angerome Whatley, Betty Brooks, Louise Rivers, Elnora Barkley, Nobel Jean Kelly, Ophelia McMiller and Lamar Anglin; her grandchildren, Cassandra Norton, Pamela Jordan (Roy), Eddie Coleman III, Keisha Coleman, Johnny Coleman, Jr., Nicole Coleman (Rachelle), Muhammad Norton, Chandi Butler (Marcus), Jamar Coleman (Shanae), Brittany Rivers, RaShon Wimberly and Alicia Manning (Travis); and her close friends, Lamar Speight and Mary Moore. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
