It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Brown of Dothan, Alabama, born in Newton, Alabama, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John N. Skipper and Vera Davenport Skipper; and her sister Vermelle S. Clark (James). She is survived by: her husband Delbert Brown; her children, Debbie Scott (Steve), Sherrie B. Tate (Dennis) and Keith Brown (Tammy); her grandchildren, Bret Scott (Mindy), Brooke S. Daniels (Neal), Derrick Tate (Ashley), Trey Tate, Heath Brown (Courtney), Haley Grimes and Hunter Brown; her great grandchildren, Brantley, Brody Scott, Dylan, Braxton Tate, Thomas Tate, Savannah, Park Daniels, Stone, Peyton, Paige Brown, Blakelyn Grimes, Kasen, Kolten, Kolby and Kyler Brown; and also Jaquie McCray. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Grace's honor.
