He was predeceased by: his daughter Anna Maria Ryals Cernyar. He is survived by: his wife Barbara R. Ryals of Dothan; his sons, Doug Ryals (Tara) of Silver Creek, Georgia and David Ryals of Silver Creek, Georgia; his stepsons, Roger Davis (Tracy) of Headland and Mike Davis of Malvern; and his sister Daryl Stanfield of Anderson, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alabama Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries or Transworld Radio: Hannah Project.
