He was predeceased by: his parents, Huey Augustus and Clara Mae Godwin; his siblings, Irma Willis (Loyd) of Rehobeth, Annette Godwin of Napier Field and Jerry Godwin (Sue) of Dothan; and his brother-in-law Dalton Creel of Dothan.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria of Dothan; his sister Shirlene Creel of Dothan; his children, Cary Godwin (Shiela) of Marianna, Anghela Adkins (Russell) of Ozark, Jeremy Godwin (Nicole) of Headland and Amanda Price (Derek) of Slocomb; his grandchildren, Nicole Smith (Joey), Christian Folds, Elizabeth Folds, Hannah Godwin, Caleb, Ella Grace Price and Kennedy Godwin; and his great grandchildren, Jaydon Godwin, Eyan, Adriana Smith, Jeremiah, Gabriel Folds and Alydia Brooks. He is also survived by 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
