He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert G. Jenkins and Estelle Godwin Jenkins; his daughter Dorcas Pittman; and his brothers, George Jenkins and Joe Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jenkins; and his daughters, Dawn Snell, Elaine Torrence (Greg), Jo Uphold, Maria Morrison and Toni Lassiter (Jimmie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
