He was predeceased by: his parents, Almer Sasser and Luna Powell Sasser; his brother Billie Joe; and his son-in-law Michael H. Atwell. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Sasser of Dothan; his daughters, Angie Atwell of Dothan and Shari Rawls (Michael) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Hudson Atwell (Shelby) of Dothan, Gavin Rawls and Raegan Rawls; his sister Sandra Sasser Mathews (Max) of Andalusia; and his sister-in-law Helen Hargrove.
