She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Parker and Essie Parker; her sister Betty Sue Faircloth; and her grandson Robert Carroll Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Helms; her daughters, Sara Taylor (Mike) and Julie Lindl (Bruce); her grandchildren, Robert Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, Aaron Taylor and Brittany Lindl; her great grandchildren, Zachary Taylor and Reid Taylor; her sister Mary Lou; her niece Susie Howell; her close friend Yvonne Hollis; and also Brad Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
