She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Alton and Grace Smith Parr; her husband David Kirksey; and her siblings, Mae Wiliford, Juanita Hurst and Samuel Parr.
She is survived by: her children, Rovonda M. Kirksey, David A. Kirksey (Vicky) and Brian K. Kirksey; her grandchildren, Brandy, Allen Elliott, Jayme, Amy Evans, Heather, Matthew Vanmoer, Sara Evans, Brad, Jenna Kirksey and Nicholas Young; her great grandchildren, Xavior, LoreLai, Nathaniel, Samantha, Micah, Adalenna, Trevor, Finley, Joseph, Damian and Colton; and her siblings, Myrtice Daniels (Stanley), Glenn Parr (Lavetra) and Linda Bradshaw (Teddy). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
