It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannette Entrekin Holmes of Dothan, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Milton Holmes of Birmingham; her parents, Idas Christopher Entrekin and Lillie Bell McEver Entrekin; and her siblings, Pauline, Elizabeth, Edith, Dorothy, Dolores, Idas Christopher, Jr., Fred and Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Buster" Holmes, Jr. (Gina) of Yucaipa, CA, Michael Douglas Holmes of Dothan, Thaddeus Barton Holmes (Donna) of Spanish Fort, AL and Laura Holmes Hambaugh (Robert) of Mentone, AL; her grandchildren, Hilary Holmes Fletcher (Scott) of Duluth, GA, Colton Holmes of Spanish Fort, AL, Jonah Holmes Hambaugh of Dothan and Lucie Fort Hambaugh of Dothan; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Fletcher and Isaac Fletcher of Duluth, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
COVID precautions including social distancing and masks are requested for all who attend.
