He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Sumlar, Jr. (Anisa) of Dothan, Tommy Sumlar of Dothan and Ronnie Sumlar of Dothan; his siblings, Marietta Johnson (Wylie), Gary Sumlar of Haleburg and Edward Sumlar of Haleburg; his grandchildren, Brittany LaPointe (Dyllan), Alexandra Sumlar and Boone Sumlar; and his great grandchildren, Emmi LaPointe, Mary Alice LaPointe and Pip LaPointe.
