He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Adkins (Guy); his children, Eve Espy and Eddie Adkins (Susan); his siblings, Evelyn Adkins White and Billy Adkins; and his grandchildren, Emily Riles (Buddy), Miles Espy, Michael Espy and Jeremy Adkins. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews.
