He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Earl. He is survived by: his mother Mary Gentle; his children, Chris Gentle, Jimmy Earl Gentle, II of Dothan and Cindy Whidden-Rusnak of Jacksonville, FL; his siblings, Scott Griswold of Lawrenceville, GA and Jan Gentle of Dothan; and his grandsons, Logan and Lance. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
