He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester D. Rodgers and Jewell Hall Rodgers; his grandmother Ada Hall; his parents-in-law, Richard and Barbara Billings; and his brother-in-law Richard Billings.
He is survived by: his wife Ethelyne "Effie" Rodgers of Dothan; his son Darren Rodgers (Jeffrey Harris) of Port St; his brothers, Ronnie Rodgers and Rodney Rodgers of Donalsonville, Georgia; and his sisters-in-law, Bette Fitzgerald (Wayne) of Long Island and Julie Billings of Concord. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
