He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Curry and Vivian Martin Curry; and his brothers, William Vaiden "Pete" Curry and James Dickey Curry. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wilson Curry; his children, Wilson Staples (Cindy), Jim Staples (Lisa), Beth Curry Moseley (Dendy) and Laurie Curry Munoz (Bryan); his grandchildren, Wil Staples (Julye), Amanda Staples, Caroline Staples, Alison Staples, Jay Staples, Emma Munoz, Lucy Munoz, Adam Munoz and Camden Moseley; and his great grandchild Sarah Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
