He was predeceased by: his wife Wynell "Bill" Hayes; his granddaughter Kimberly Nicole Hayes; and his parents, John Hayes and Carrie Pippin Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Larry C. Hayes (Kay) of Dothan, Gregory Stephen Hayes of Dothan, Timothy John Hayes (Michelle) of Jacksonville, FL and Karen Hayes of Alexandria, VA; and his sisters, Jo-Ann Delony of Dothan and Tommie Snell of Orlando, FL.
