He is survived by: his wife Nettie Thomas; his children, Junior Earl Thomas (Phyllis), Linda McCants (Paul), Edward Earl Thomas (Tiffany), Shahna McReal (Eric) and Catrina Thomas; his godson Patrick Ray; his siblings, John Robert Thomas (Delores), Terry Thomas (Rosa), Raymond Thomas (Lovely), Eddie Thomas, Curtis Thomas (Catherine), Nancy Hobdy, Kathleen Thomas and Stella Mae Thomas; and his sister-in-law Fannie Thomas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
