She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy Thomas "Bud" Dixon and Abbie Lee Mitchell Dixon; her husband Horace Messer; her former husband Elder Marvin Deese; her sons, Frankie Horace Messer and Ronnie Messer; her grandson William Horace Messer; her great grandchild Rebecca Dianne Turner; her siblings, Madeline Herndon, Alma Chandler, Lester Dixon, Frank Dixon, J. R. Dixon (Barbara) and Rufus Dixon; and her stepson Rodney Deese.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Williams (Roger), Denise Naglosky (Joe), Burlington and Delaine Jordan; her stepdaughters, Ann Hewett of Grand Ridge, FL and Betty Todd of Grand Ridge, FL; her daughters-in-law, Jewel Armstrong Messer and Susan Shumake; her stepsons, Lamar Deese (Jeanette) of Grand Ridge, FL and Duke Deese (Brenda) of Grand Ridge, FL; her stepdaughter-in-law Linda Deese of Marianna, FL; her siblings, Jemima Bond, Roy Dixon (Wilma) and Robert Dixon (Doris); her sister-in-law Joann Dixon of Carrollton, GA; and her grandchildren, Donna Kennedy, Shea Hoffman, Sissy Messer White, Danny Turner, Brandi Brown, Caleb Sewell, Abbie Naglosky Cardona and Jeremy Naglosky. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed.
