It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Rene Whatley Bonds of Dothan, Alabama, born in Headland, Alabama, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Woodruff Whatley and Catherine Pouncey Whatley; her husband C. W. "Ruck" Bonds; and her children, Alice Culver, Debra Bonds, Catherine Bonds, Minister Felicia Russell, Cynthia Helms, Louise Dean (Scotty), Caldonia Moore (David), Wayne Reeves (Jerlean) of Tampa, FL, Dr. Charles Bonds (Theresa Bonds) of Statesboro, GA and Reverend Willie Bonds (Betty). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
