He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Thomley and Retha Barfield Thomley; his wife Linda Thomely; and his siblings, Cecil Thomley and Peggy Owens.

He is survived by: his children, Dusty Thomley, Louie Thomley Jr. and Misty Thomas (Mack); and his siblings, Charles Thomley (Alexis), Sam Thomley Jr. (Stacey), Tim Thomley and Debbie Taylor (Mike). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
