She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae and Shelly McLeod; her husband Charles; her brothers, Johnny, Reuben and Shelly McLeod; and her close friend Donald McRae.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Milton Mitchell (Cynthia) of Glendale, Arizona and Annie Doris Woodard (Elmer) of Newport News, Virginia; her sisters, Daisy Tiller and Minnie Mosely of Dothan, Alabama; and her grandchild Lamont Mitchell (Renita). She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
