He is survived by: his son James Tanksley (Aleeya) of Newark; his siblings, Thomas Skipper of Dothan, Reuben Skipper (Audri) of Placentia, California, Betty Ward (Willie) of Atlanta, Daisy Lambeth (Russel) of Seattle, Ethel Skipper (Nathan) of Headland, Sarah Butler and Colmer Skipper (Bob) of Dothan, Alabama; his sisters-in-law, Audrianne Bridges-Skipper, Cassandra Skipper and Stella Mae Skipper; his close friends, Earnest McNealy, Wayne Bryant (Essie), Bobbie Grider, Precious, Tammy Rayland and Belinda; his nieces, Dajilia and Sally; his aunts, May Sewell, Daisy Sewell and Queen Jackson; and also, Kareem Tanksley of Savannah, Georgia and Hersey Tanksley of Savannah, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
