She was predeceased by : her parents, Jimmie Lee and Helen Jackson McGowan; and her siblings, Jackie Sowell, Gail Carr and Sammy McGowan.

She is survived by : her husband Joe Rich; her children, Travis Watson (Trish), Theresa Jernigan (Jeffrey), Melissa Cason and Joanna Skeen (Michael); her grandchildren, Chase Watson, Lilly Skeen, Brianna Woods, Lindsey Skeen, Jalen Jernigan and Ivy Cason; and her siblings, Cody McGowan, Carol Williams and Bonnie McGowan.
