She was predeceased by: her parents, John Black and Callie Taylor Black; her husband Ford Peoples; her daughter Linda Daniels; her siblings, Robert, Garland, Mark Swain Black, Lorena Parker and Nona Fuller; and her great grandchild Stephen Lee Shull.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Mathews, Anna Railey (Rodney), Sidney Cartee (Gary) and Elizabeth Holman (Terry Barfield); her grandchildren, Ginny Wiggins (Wayne), Bonnie Garris, David, Robert Mathews, Callie Skipper (Joey), Aimee Railey, Leah Heck (Justin), Ashlyn and Mary Cartee; and her sister-in-law Sarah Black. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
