She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Q. Richardson and Florence Richardson; and her sisters, Jane Richardson and Ruth Price. She is survived by: her former husband Roy Hardaway; her spouse Jesse Thomas; her children, Elroy Hardaway (Iris) of Columbus, Judith Peterson of Dothan and Robert Hardaway (Viola) of Eufaula, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Lisa Hardaway of Dothan, Brittany Hardaway of Columbus, Naji Terry of Columbus, Yulunda Peterson of Atlanta, Emily Rollins of Alachua, Demetrius Hardaway of Alachua, Elroy Hardaway, Jr. of Canadaigua, Brad Kelly of Canadaigua and Vincent Hardaway of Killeen, Texas. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
