She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter L. Johnson and Lonie Abigail Pickle Johnson; her husband Harmon Battles; her siblings, Meril Howell, Inez Stringfellow, Maxine Smith, Pauline Crawford, Clarence Johnson, Olis Johnson, Ray Johnson and Earl Johnson; and her son-in-law Hasten McCardle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Edna Battles McCardle and Vicki Battles Green (Joe); her sister Jewell Steel Butler; her grandchildren, Wendy Williams (David) of Cottonwood, Stacy McCardle (Kim) of Cottonwood, Kristy Lee (Heath) of Cottonwood, Matthew Green (Julie) of Knoxville, Charis Poole of Knoxville, Stephanie Green of Knoxville and Hannah Cooper (Mark) of Knoxville; her great grandchildren, Kassidy Williams, Jaylin Marchman (Tyler), Amanda Neuman, Cody McCardle (Brianna Hernandez), Benjamin McCardle (Brianna Chiles), Dylan McCardle, Chloe Lee, Joshiah, Levi Green, Lucy Green, Allan Poole, Analise Poole and Lynn; her great great grandchild Finnley Graham; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Hall (Gene), Rudean Howell, Frances Ingram and Debbie Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
