Nelson Hooper Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Hooper of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hooper and Tullie McCord Hooper; and his brothers, Joe Hooper, Jr., Ben Hooper and Max Hooper.

He is survived by: his children, Holly Jelks (Mark) of Enterprise, Hope Snapp (Robert) of Dothan and Hudson Hooper (Mona) of Enterprise; his grandchildren, Brad McDurmont (Tricia), Blake Mise (Brandon), Jessika Hooper, Derek Hooper (Krista), Cole Hooper, Kathryn Adams (Kyle), Kassidy Jelks and Robyn Snapp; and his great grandchildren, Nora McDurmont, Joe McDurmont, Eli McDurmont, Braxton Mise, Austin Adams, Jaina Adams, Aiden Adams and Robert Brunson.
