He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan Lanier and Ketherine Lanier; his wife Mary Frances Lanier; and his granddaughter Laura Lynn Turner Wilkins. He is survived by: his children, James Lanier (Gayle) of Taylor, Judy Williams of Dothan and Patsy Turner (Terry) of Hartford; and his grandchildren, Vickey Harris (Jeff), Jimmy Jr. Williams (Sherry), Kenny Williams (Wanda), Kim Wells (Kyle), Brandi Quattlebaum (Jamie), Corey Lanier (Haley) and Pam Benefield (Rollins). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
