She was predeceased by: her parents, William Homer and Myrtle Lee Bates; her husband Russell John Furniss; her son Russell Keith Furniss; and her siblings, William Bates, Carolyn Eaves (Bill), Ray Bates (Betty) and James Bates.
She is survived by: her brothers, Elbert Bates and Joe Bates (Shirley); her son Ronald Furniss; her grandchildren, Russell K. Furniss, Jr., Johnathan Furniss (Kimber), Ronnie J. Furniss (Mendi), Ronnie L. Furniss (Heather), Delana Tye (Wayne), Angelyne Nilson (Nathan) and Hannah Wade (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Ryan Furniss, Gavin Furniss, Haylee Furniss, Kadence Furniss, Jayvon Furniss, Hunter Furniss, Kinsley Redding, Jaxson Nilson, Joslynn Nilson and Wyatt Wade.
