She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sammy Akins and Johnnie Bell Ashley Akins; her grandson Nathaniel Bigham; her children, James Alter Bigham, Boris Fitzgerald Bigham, Benjamin Bernard Bigham (Carla), Mary Louise Bigham Edwards and Adrian Duboir Bigham; her grandchildren, James, Jr., Terrell Williams, Benjamin Bigham, Trinity Russaw, Christian Edwards, Neveah Martin, Destiny McCloud and Jasmine Kelley; her sisters, Annie Willis of Fort Worth, Johnnie Johnson of Dothan and Janice Cannon of Dothan, Alabama; her son-in-law Torey Register; and her friends, Robert Corbitt and Tracey Long. She was also cherished by nephews, cousins, and close friends.
