He is survived by: his mother Myrtle Leger Jackson; his siblings, Dewayne Leger, Cecil Leger, Ida Mae Mathis (John) and Mary Mexico (Gerald Harris); and his siblings' children, Marie Harris, Sandy Harris, William Harris (Virginia), Willmer Harris (Kimberly), Howard Harris and Jim Whitehead. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles along with several great nieces and great nephews.
