She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott Williams and Ola Williams; her siblings, Mary Jones, Martha Long, Elijah and Jerry Williams, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Annie Pearl Nix; and her grandchildren, Jermaine Nix and Alicia Nix.
She is survived by: her spouse Willie Nix, Sr; her children, David Nix (Nora) of Dothan, Willie Nix, Jr. of Marianna, Terry Nix of Dothan, Gwin Bryant (Michael) of Bartow, Janice Peters of Gordon, Scottie Nix of Dothan, Timothy Nix of Gordon, Marvin Nix of Lakeland and Russell Nix of Dothan, Alabama; her adoptive son Jerome Hightower of Dothan, Alabama; her sister Bessie Williams of Williamsboro; and her godchildren, Camila Hardrick of Dothan, Jimmy Tiggs of Greenwood and J. C. Roach of Gordon, Alabama. She is also survived by five great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
