He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Powe and Alice Powe; his siblings, Gelane Cross, David Mathis and Roland Powe; and his stepson James Nathan Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Powe; his daughters, LahRhonda Faye Jackson (Paul), LaShonda Ann Hall (LaMar) and Tamika Lanette Dawkins (Doug); his stepdaughters, Brenda Marie Griffin and Kathleen Dunning; his sons, Robert Louie Powe, Jr. (Nora), Ricky Ray Powe (Shalinda), Danny Jay Powe (Sadie Mae), Michael Tyrone Powe (Pam) and Louie Anthony Powe (Michelle); his stepson Charles "Sambo" Harris; and his siblings, Mary Moore, Willie D. Powe, Charlie T. Powe and Lee Edward Powe. He is also survived by Thirty grand kids, thirty-eight great grand kids, four great great grand kids, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and the many friends.
