He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Carroll and Olean Stephenson (McLean); his brother Jerry Lamar Stephenson; and his nephew Jeremy McLean Stephenson of Enterprise, Alabama.. He is survived by: his wife Delphia Ann; his children, Krista Carol Smith (Brian), Dale James Stephenson (Laura) of Dothan, Alabama and Dwayne Roger Stephenson of Dothan, Alabama; his grandchildren, Landon Wayne Smith, Karlee Brianna Smith of Dothan, Braden James Stephenson, Brenna Lauren Stephenson, Brody Dale Stephenson of Dothan, Kaleb Dwayne Stephenson and William Cain Stephenson of Atlanta, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Kai Alexander Murray and Luca Murray of Dothan, Alabama; his sister-in-law Barbara Lindsey Stephenson; and his nieces and nephews, Sammi Herber (John) and Kelli Senior (Michael).
