It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Barnes of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Barnes and Annie Lou Cox Barnes; his grandparents, Ira, Bunnie Barnes, Fletcher and Lillie B Foster Cox; his son Timothy "Bernard" Barnes (Tameka); his stepchildren, Chris Brooks (Deanna), Lawana Jackson, Reginald Jackson, Shauntane Duncan (Adrian) and Quinton Peterson (DeAndrea); his brothers, Isaac Barnes and Bobby Barnes (Priscilla); his aunts and uncles, Catherine Whitted, Betty Shipman, Minnie P. Johnson, Pearl Mosbley (James), James Cox (Sarah) and Ira Cox (Vernia); his siblings-in-law, Jessie Jones (Derrell), Bennie Jones, Wille Brooks, Leroy Brooks (Edna), Don Brooks, Calvin Brooks (Tanja), Mary Bowman, Sharon Wyartt, Sandra Bussey and Detra Neely (Arlington); and also Vinnie Peterson Barnes.

He is survived by: his wife Vinnie (Georgia Peach).
