He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred McLain and Merie King McLain; his grandparents, Barney, Ruby Patterson, L. J. and Jewel King; his brother Gene McLain (Kathy) of Cottonwood; his sibling's children, April Norris (Todd), Amy Hatcher (Chris) and Dustin Wilford; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ella Wilford, Adalyn Norris, Piper Hatcher, Jayce Hatcher and Jackson Norris. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alabama Kidney Foundation, the American Heart Association or a favorite charity.
