He was predeceased by: his siblings, Paul Smith and Julia Smith. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Hanes Smith; his children, Rachel Bruner (Wesley) and Matt Smith (Jesslyn); his grandchildren, Lauren, Levi, Harrison and Hanes; his sister-in-law Patsy Smith; and his nephew Patrick Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Steve may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
