He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Lamar. He is survived by: his mother Paulette Driskell Smith; his daughters, Jennifer Smith Barranco (Vince), Shelby Smith and Abby Smith; his stepchildren, Krista Greathouse Pearson of Summerville, S. C. and Kameron Greathouse; his brothers, Malcolm Karl Smith (Kellie) and David Smith; his grandchildren, Braxton Barranco, Peyton Barranco, Easton Barranco, Christopher Carter, Nala Carter, Layla Carter, Colby Massey, Cayden Allen, Presley Greathouse, Shaylee Greathouse, Ayden Pearson, Charleigh Pearson and Raylan Pearson; and his siblings' children, Brittany Smith, Kiley Smith Bolden (Darien), Skylar Smith, Brett Singletary (Hillary), Evan Ballard (Hannah) and John David Ballard.
