He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gilley and Freddie Gilley (Brannon); and his children, Rebecca Gilley and John Owens. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Gilley; his sons, Tim Gilley (Amber) and Joseph Gilley; and his siblings, Ronnie Gilley (Virginia), Dinah Whitehead (Ed), Debbie Riley, Linda Mixon (Cecil) and Evelyn Holroyd. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nephews, nieces.
