She was predeceased by: her parents, Terrell Cas Kirkland and Rosa Lee Riley Kirkland; her husband William Lewis "Lew" Faison; her siblings, JoAnn Kirkland Crews, Thelbert Kirkland and Tippy Riley Kirkland; her sister-in-law Verdell Brannon Kirkland; and her nephews, Stephen Terrell Kirkland and Michael Kirkland.
She is survived by: her niece Judy Faison Carr.
