He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Preston Spivey and Willie Mae Rice; his wife Katie Ruth Spivey; and his brothers, Max E. Spivey and Earl Spivey.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Schnur (Gary) and Thomas "Tom" Spivey, Jr. (Terry); his grandchildren, Paula Tacker (Clint), Katie King (Greg) and Ben Spivey; and his siblings, Mary Louise Branton and Chuck Spivey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
