She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Dismukes; her parents, Loyd Shiver and Ethel Lewis Shiver; her children, Doug Dismukes and Julie Pike; and her brother Jerry Shiver.

She is survived by: her son Micah Dismukes; her daughter-in-law Sherrie Dismukes; her sister Marie Lawence; her grandchildren, Erin Pike Garzarer (Jake), Abby Dismukes and Corey Pike; and also Gary Lawence.
