It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Deatherage Jr. of Dothan, Alabama, born in Houston, Alabama, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Harrison and Blondell Scott Deatherage, Sr.; his wife Brenda Joyce Deatherage; and his siblings, Anna Harrison and Kenneth Deatherage.
He is survived by: his son Beau Deatherage (Kristy); his stepsons, Kevin Deatherage (Wendy) and Keith Deatherage; his grandchildren, Kendyle and Colier Deatherage; his stepgrandson Dakota Deatherage; and his sister Kathy Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
