He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Mooneyham Easterling and Willie B. Easterling; his wife Elaine Battles Easterling; his sister Elsie Frances Easterling Faulhaber; and his brother-in-law Burnie Frank Battles.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Fred Battles of Duncanville, TX and Mary Helen Battles of San Antonio, TX; his nieces and nephews, Don Faulhaber (Norika) of San Diego, CA, Alan Faulhaber (Nanette) of Albuquerque, NM, David Faulhaber (Irma) of Oceanside, CA, Aaron Battles (Jessica) of Midland, TX, Jay Battles (Eliza) of San Antonio, TX, Chrissy Battles Hopper (Heath) of Hamilton, TX, Kristi Battles Reavis (Ben) of Dallas, TX and Brittany Battles Smith (Zack) of Fort Worth, TX; and his friends, Over and Bill. He is also survived by 60 dogs.
