He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bruce and Ida Dorris Ray; and his son Phillip Ray. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Grace Green Ray of Dothan, AL; his daughters, Linda King (James) of Dothan, AL and Frances Lastinger (Don) of Gainesville, GA.; and his grandchildren, Holly Lastinger Ingram, Derrick Lastinger, Christopher Ray and Misty Ray Wilkes.
