He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hobbs and Sammie Mae Hobbs of Dothan, AL; and his siblings, Billy Sam Hobbs, Winton Hobbs, Arthur Hobbs, Earle Hobbs, Betty Sue Bigbee and Earline Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Hobbs; his children, William Hobbs (Tina), Bonnie Brantley (Stanley) and Michelle Stevens (Anthony); his grandchildren, Amy Knight (TJ), Keith Brantley (Elizabeth), Kayla Scott and Cameron Stevens; and his siblings, Margaret Jean Lee, Joanne Godwin, Linda Harrell and Phillip Hobbs. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
