He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Harris Helms of Dothan, AL; his children, Latoya Helms Brown of Dothan, AL, Nikki Helms Durry (Steven) of Dothan, AL, Christopher Helms of Dothan, AL and Jeremy Critten (LaShaydra) of Dothan, AL; his grandchildren, LaKesia, Stevonte, JonTavious and Jeremiah; and his siblings, Mary Carrol, Sylvia Robison, Mary Walker Harvey, Janice Stroud, Betty Walker, Robert Earl Helms (Jimmie), James A Helms (Cynthia), Earnest Helms, Bobby Walker, Ray Charles Robinson and Johnnie Earl Walker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
